For Scientists
Vessels for science. Anywhere. Anytime.
You have a research mission – but no ship available?
BlueDataFleet helps you access vessels where you need them. Whether you’re conducting environmental sampling, biodiversity studies, acoustic surveys, or oceanographic monitoring – we connect you with vessel owners who are eager to support science.
Step-by-Step:
Submit Your Project Briefly describe your scientific objective, timeframe, location, and technical requirements (e.g. power supply, space, instrumentation).
Get Matched & Connect We search our network of registered vessels to identify possible matches based on region, availability, and capabilities. We will introduce you to the vessel owner to assure a good match.
Planning & Additional Support We help you to plan the details, timelines, equipment needs, and expectations. You can also book additional services from us - permit applications & reporting, logistical support, instrument deployment, training of the crew and data transfer & archiving. A collaboration agreement ensures all sides are aligned.
Start Your Mission Once confirmed, you bring your science onboard. Whether it’s a week of sampling or a months-long expedition, simply deploying a sensor or scaling up observations – we help your project to take shape at sea.

Tell us about your project!
Let us know what you're planning — where you want to go, how many people are involved, and what kind of equipment you'll plan to use.
We can also connect you with vessels where only your equipment is sent onboard. We help you organize remote training of the crew to sample or collect data. Once the mission is complete, the equipment is returned to you.
